Having a good Score in JAMB UTME doesn’t mean your admission is secured. The truth is that when you pass Jamb, it is an indication to the university you apply for that you are now a qualified candidate for admission into the university. This only happens if you can score up to or above the threshold or cut off mark of the course you applied for in that said University.

After Jamb what you need is to prepare for the university Post UTME or Screening. This is the last process a student must pass-through. Most Universities award admission to students that met their fixed cut off mark for Post UTME.

Post-UTME has two ways  which are;

  • Writing an aptitude test.

Screening of the student's credentials. This is just checking your WAEC and JAMB results if it meets the minimum requirement.
After writing your Post UTME or screening upload your WAEC result in the JAMB portal so that the university you choose can easily see your WAEC result if is fake or original. Many students don’t get admission sometimes even when their JAMB scores or Post UTME score might be good because their WAEC result was not uploaded.
