 N-Power is a social and economic development programme that was established on June 8, 2016, by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari to help increase social development. This scheme set up to address the youth unemployment issues eating deep into the fabrics of the country. N-Power scheme is designed to equip youths both graduates and non-graduates with relevant skills for innovation and productivity. The interested applicants must be between the age of 18 - 35 years old. It is a volunteer programme that offers the beneficiaries a reasonable stipend at the end of every month. The volunteers are expected to serve in the programme between 3 months - 2 years of learning and earning under the federal government.

It has been stated earlier that N-power is open for all categories of applicants both educated and non-educated. N-Power Health will be open for applicants that have Bachelor's Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), Ordinary National Diploma (OND) etc in health sciences like Medicine, Public Health, Midwifery, Microbiology, Botany, Nursing, Psychology or any other related courses. For any applicant to be eligible to register for N-Power, he/she must be between 18 - 35 years of age which is the official age bracket for the scheme. The following are documents that the soft copies need to be uploaded:
-Valid phone number
-Bank verification number (BVN)
-Birth certificate, Curriculum Vitae (CV), and school leaving certificates
-Accessible Email address

  • Steps To Register For Any N-Power Categories

    Step 1: Visit the Npower Registration Portal
    Step 2: Consider your area of interest, choose and click on any of your desired programs
    Step 3: After filling the form, review your application in case there is a need for corrections

    • How To Login To N-Power Portal

    For an applicant to be able to register/ apply for N-Power, he/she needs to first create a login account in their portal. Ensure you give the correct and valid e-mail address while creating the account because it is the medium through which necessary information concerning your N-Power application will be sent to you. 

  • After creating a login account, log in with your username/ email address on www.npower.gov.ng/login
  • Key in your password
  • Select the category that applies to you.
  • Provide your BVN
  • Upload your recent passport photograph, Curriculum Vitae (CV), NYSC certificate or its equivalent (where applicable).
